Mixed-Cation Molybdate Complex of Neptunium(V), Li2Na[NpO2(MoO4)2]•4H2O

摘要
A new mixed-cation complex Li2Na[NpO2(MoO4)(2)]center dot 4H(2)O with NpO2+ : MoO42- = 1 : 2 has been synthesized and structurally characterized. The coordination environment of Np(V) atoms is a pentagonal bipyramid the equatorial plane of which is formed by oxygen atoms of five MoO42- anions. The structure is based on anionic neptunoyl-molybdate layers, with hydrated Li+ and Na+ cations bound via the common vertices of the coordination polyhedra into chains situated in the interlayer space.
