Actively Respond to Population Aging: Status Quo, Challenges and Countermeasures-Based on the Analysis of Kunming

China's population has entered a stage of rapid aging, aging population pressure began to appear. Based on the analysis of the present situation of population aging and the practice of aging in Kunming, this paper analyzes the challenges brought by the aging of the population from the aspects of social security, social service supply, social participation and urban and rural aging in the elderly, and should deepen the old social security work reform, accelerate the construction of social care service system, reasonable advocacy and social participation of older persons and other innovative mechanisms on aging to address the problem.
