摘要
In the context of everyday use of technology, mobile phones are not a scary thing like a PC or a laptop. Our work provides an insight into education trends and collaborative efforts to afford leadership in these domain. Now almost everyone, from 2 years old babies to 70-80 years old people, can use a smartphone or tablet without any further experience. The fact that a smartphone or a tablet can be used anywhere and anytime, makes much more easier informal learning which is part of m-learning or mobile learning. In fact, m-learning is the acquisition of any knowledge or skill through using mobile technology, anywhere, anytime. Usually, m-learning happens when people are away from their offices or classrooms. m-learning does not replace traditional learning, but is just another way of learning using a new technology. Mobile learning or m-learning, a relatively new concept, has attracted the interest of all the actors: educators, researchers, and companies developing learning systems and instructional materials. The purpose of this article is to identify creative applications available on mobile markets with impact on m-learning, to establish some apps' categories, age categories, platforms and necessary skills for using them. The result should be useful to students, parents and teachers as well, due to the fact that the available apps or directions in those markets can help a lot personal and professional development of each one of them. With the help of our results, the teachers can determine much easier what type of app available on mobile markets can they use to improve their classes and teaching methods.
