摘要
Attachment styles can be related with psychopathological disorders in adolescence. The aim of this piece of work was to study the relationship between psychopathology and attachment in adolescents and the influence of gender on these variables. The sample (N=88) was made up of adolescents between 14 and 16 years old. The attachment styles were evaluated by using Attachment Styles Scale (Casullo y Fernandez, 2005) and psychopathology by means of questionnaire SCL-90-R (Derogatis, 2002). The results show that women present higher levels of psychopathology and a greater tendency towards insecure attachment styles which are related with a higher level of psychopathology in both genders.
