摘要
VSC-HVDC is developed quickly in new energy power transmission field. The characteristics of VSC-HVDC is different from LCC-HVDC, so the traditional control strategies in LCC-HVDC maybe not completely suitable for the power system with VSC-HVDC. In order to guarantee the stable operation of the power grid with VSC-HVDC under serious faults, control strategies should be studied. Combined with the operating characteristics of VSC-HVDC, some response difference between VSC-HVDC and LCC-HVDC is analyzed. And then, the general principles for making the security and stability control strategies of the power grid with VSC-HVDC is proposed. At last, the rationality and effectiveness of the control strategy is validated in an IEEE30 system. The simulation results show that the proposed grid security and stability control strategy is effective for the fault recovery of the power grid with VSC-HVDC. Copyright (C) 2018 The Authors.
