Symmetric/asymmetric uranium neutron-induced fission up to 200 MeV

摘要
The symmetric SL-mode and asymmetric lumped (S1+S2)-mode fission cross sections of 238-U(n,f) and 235-U(n,f) reactions are calculated up to 200 MeV within a statistica I model. For each U nuclide, emerging in U(n,xnf) reaction separate triaxial outer fission barrier is assumed for the SL-mode. To fit branching ratio of symmetric and asymmetric fission more fissions coming from higher fission chances, or more fissions from N-deficient nuclei are predicted. Damping of triaxial collective modes contribution to the level density at SL-mode outer saddle seems to be essential for the 238-U(n,f) branching ratio description.
