摘要
The exact specific heats and partition function zeros of the three-state Potts model are obtained on L x L square lattices (up to L = 12) for free and cylindrical boundary conditions. From the specific heats and the first zeros, the critical point y(c) and the thermal scaling exponent S-t are accurately estimated in the limit L -> infinity. The shift exponent lambda, whose value is not known, is also estimated, and the estimated values imply lambda = s(t).
