Numerical Simulation of Pressure Field and Concentration Field Coupling of Gas in Coal Mine Goaf

摘要
To study the distribution of gas pressure and concentration of gas in coal mine goaf, numerical simulation software of FLUENT was applied, physical model of stope was built. Variation process of gas pressure and component concentration of goaf was simulated and calculated. The condition of up-corner of face was selective analyzed. The results show that distribution of gas concentration is asymmetrical in goaf. Concentration is high in goaf depths, while low in shallow. It is low at side of return air, and high at side of intake air. The pressure on up-corner of face is relative low, so the case of methane accumulation and out of limitation easily occurs here.
