摘要:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the use of response interruption and redirection (RIRD) to reduce vocal stereotypy in a student with Autism Spectrum Disorder in a special education classroom during group instruction. This study extends the literature on the use of RIRD, examining effectiveness with an adolescent with intellectual disability and limited functional language in a naturalistic setting. Results indicated that RIRD was effective in decreasing vocal stereotypy in this student.
