A new chigger mite (Acari: Trombiculidae) from the Mediterranean

摘要：
A new chigger mite, Lacertacarus croaticus sp. n. (Acari: Prostigmata, Trombiculidae) is described and figured from Croatia. The individuals of a new chigger were collected from moss and grass rhizosphere taken from small thermophilic meadow in bush area of Central part of Rab Island. A key to species of Lacertacarus is provided.
