摘要
The main aim of this paper is the analysis and interpretation of education towards "dialogue of cultures" in the context of an upgraded concept of axiological pluralism. This paper deems multiculturalism as unsustainable as it is not sufficiently elaborate. The concept of this study is comprised of the description of the current state of affairs and the distinction between the possibilities of coexistence in certain societies into commensurable and incommensurable. Axiological monism is being is put up against cultural pluralism. The most fundamental problem of the coexistence of various cultures being identified is the incommensurability of values. We believe that culturally incommensurable groups can only coexist side by side, but they cannot live together. This can also be applied to various groups of Christian and Islamic communities, which is why this paper addresses the issue in terms of the values of Christianity and Islam.
