摘要
Air pollution is a one of the major concern of civilized world, which has a significant impact on human health and the environment. Recent studies highlight that the exposure to polluted air can increase the incidence of diseases and deteriorate the quality of life. Hence, it is necessary to develop tools for real-time air quality monitoring. Electronicnose systems based on sensors are an interesting and promising technology in the field of monitoring environmental pollution. However, real-life usage in monitoring of outdoor air is connected with several challenges, such as temperature or humidity changes affecting sensor response. In this study, a performance of the three electronic nose systems based on semiconducting gas sensors only, amperometric gas sensors only and both type of sensors in outdoor air quality is evaluated. Toxic gas concentration prediction ability of these three e-noses is compared with the reference results from the stationary station of air monitoring system.
