摘要：
The new p-chlorophenyl, p-fluorophenyl and p-nitrophenyl tetralone esters were synthesized in good yields by chalcone route. They are key intermediates for the synthesis of analogues of podophyllotoxin, an antimitotic agent. The purified compounds were characterized by spectral and elemental analysis data.
