摘要
The LaAl11O18:Eu-Mn phosphor was prepared at furnace temperature of 500 degrees C in single step process by solution combustion technique. The sample was characterized by XRD and EDX methods, which showed that the hexagonal phase and presence of dopants, respectively. The absorption in the 230-800 nm region and excitation spectrum corresponding to the emission at 442, 514 and 616 nm for LaAl11O18:Eu-Mn phosphor have been recorded. The EPR spectrum of this phosphor exhibits the signals with the effective g values at g approximate to 7.50, 4.82 and 1.97. The existence of Eu2+ and Mn2+ in LaAl11O18 matrix was confirmed by EPR experiments. (C) 2014 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
