摘要
The technology of the pulverized coal low-dust slagging combustion, which is mostly applied to the small-type industrial furnaces, was introduced. In this study, a numerical analysis of the combustion characteristics was made for this new-type combustor. In addition to selecting several proper models on gaseous flow, solid phase flow, coal combustion and NOx emission, we tried to model the behavior of coal particles near the wall. The computational results showed that most fuels burnt near the wall, the temperature distribution was relatively even near the rear of the combustor, the ash was removed in the form of the melted slag, and the NOx formation was controlled because of the reducing atmosphere in the combustor.
