The 3a, b and c supramolecular complexes of the [CE...H3N+R]BPh4- type (where H3N+R is the cation of L-alanyl-p-nitroanilide, BPh4- is the anion of tetraphenylborate and CE is a crown ether like 18C6, DCH18C6 or B18C6) were obtained in high yield, in solid state. The obtained supramolecular complexes were optically active and hydrophobic. The experimental results regarding the complex characteristics (UV, H-1-NMR, C-13-NMR and alpha(D)) and also their stability in water/methylene chloride biphasic system are presented.
