Optimal Design of Pre-stressed Concrete Coal Silo

摘要
In order to optimize the mechanical behavior of pre-stressed concrete coal silo in 36 m diameter and 40.4 m height, tools for optimal design are recommended. The reasonability of comprehensive application with Midas/Gen and ANSYS for optimal design is proved. The optimization ideas are discussed and overall optimization process is given out. Based on the given principle and methods for optimization design, structural investment of each coal silo would save about 20 %. The results provide a reference for construction and design of similar silo.
