摘要
Hype and hyperbole about the Internet and its impact (or lack of impact) are widespread and many authors have felt compelled to add their favorite metaphor to make a salient point. As there is always room for one more, it is suggested that the Internet can be characterized as a catalyst for change. The expectation for change is probably the one constant that should be anticipated if one decides to use the Internet as one tool for the construction of learning environments.
