Mathematical modelling and simulation in modern electrochemistry

摘要
Examination of current practices and methods involving prototyping and mathematical modelling in electrochemistry is used as a basis for constructing a conceptual model of a software system. Current approaches and systems suffer from a variety of deficiencies, including high cost, inflexibility, limited accessibility, non-robustness and slowness. We describe some of the goals and results of current research in computer based modelling and virtual prototyping pursuant to the construction of an object-oriented, open system based kernel suited to rapid software development in a distributed computing, or network, context. Following standards already developed and applied successfully to computer graphics and the Internet, we discuss the implementation of a mathematical modelling class structure.
