摘要
The paper describes the possibility of producing MgAl2O4/SiC composite ceramic material by combustion of mixture containing magnesium carbonate silica aluminum and carbon The investigation is made of the processes which proceed during combustion of various mixture compositions Also the characteristics of obtained materials are determined The microstructure investigations revealed the presence of fibrous silicon carbide crystals The material obtained can be used for production of ceramic items for various applications
