摘要：
The present paper discusses the problems of clay soil microstructure formation in the process of progressive lithogenesis. It has been established that progressive lithogenesis of clay soils is characterized by a regular change in morphometric, geometric, and energy features of a microstructure, From this, a conclusion is drawn that the microstructure of clay soils indicates the formation conditions inherent to certain stages of lithogenesis and is intimately connected with their properties.
