摘要
This paper introduces modeling and control of three level back-to-back HVDC utilizing H-bridge voltage source converters (VSCs) as a result of its attractive features over conventional two-level converters. The current control method in a rotating reference frame (d-q) applied for manipulating real and reactive powers for power system stability purpose is studied. The control method is achieved by means of PI compensators, whose design procedures using transfer function are also mentioned. Simulation of fully digital control demonstrates independent control of both real and reactive powers.
