摘要
This paper develops a low profile spin-decoupled unit. which can control the Pancharatnam-Berry (PB) phase and the propagation phase at the same time. Single-layer multi-polarization transmission multi-functional metasurface (MTS) is designed by using the developed unit. Orbital angular momentum (OAM) mode and pattern reconfiguration is achieved by switching left hand circular polarization (LHCP) or right hand circular polarization (RHCP) horns. Then, the desired OAM mode, beam direction and beam polarization can be generated arbitrarily by tailoring the size and rotation angle of the MTS element. Finally, the MTS with LHCP incidence or RHCP wave incidence are simulated, the results validate the design principle, which shows a great flexibility for designing multi-beams multi-polarization multi-functional MTS-based devices. Moreover, the proposed MTS has low profile, arbitrary polarizations, beam numbers and modes, and can be reconfigurable.
