摘要
We have performed the valence-band photoemission spectroscopy on single-wall carbon nanotubes. Characteristic peak structures originated from one-dimensional van Hove singularities have been successfully observed. The peak structures are well reproduced by the calculation based on the tight-binding model taking into account a diameter distribution of nanotubes.
