摘要
In this paper, a millimeter-wave photonic crystal circulator is introduced. The cylindrical ferrites and triangular metal pedestals are placed in the junction of Y-shaped waveguide working as magneto-optical cavity resonator. Under the external magnetic bias H-0=30000 A/m, the transmission characteristics in design frequency 24 similar to 28 GHz is simulated. The best insertion loss of circulator is as low as 0.2dB, and the isolation is better than 20 dB. The designed circulator based on magneto photonic crystals is low loss and wideband that satisfied to be applied in practical communication systems.
