摘要
This article continues the cycle of publications devoted to one of the actual topics of historical demography and agrarian history, the study of the development of rural settlements in Russia in the second half of the XX — early XXI centuries. The paper considers the historical fate of large rural settlements of all regions of the Chernozem and Non-Chernozem Center of Russia with very different conditions for agriculture and the southernmost Russian villages in the European part with the most favorable conditions for agriculture, as well as resort and tourist services for the population of all Russia (Volgograd and Rostov regions, Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories).
