摘要
Three species of the genus Argiope (cosmopolitan A. bruennichi (Scopoli 1772), Trans-Palaearctic A. lobata (Pallas 1772), and Central Asian A. ahngeri Spassky 1932) are redescribed on the basis of a new material from Russia and Central Asia. A male of A. ahngeri is described herein for the first time. A new key (with the use of several additional taxonomic characters) for the identification of Russian and Central Asian species of the genus Argiope is provided.
