摘要
Piezo-Electric Actuator (PEA) based electromechanically tunable Partially Reflective Surface (PRS) is proposed for high efficiency (>94%) terahertz (THz) antenna beam steering. A phase shift of about 40. is achieved the by varying the mechanical separation between the PRS metasurface and ground layer. A high gain (18dBi) Leaky-Wave Antenna (LWA) is designed at 280 GHz band with 18. beam steering. The presented phase shifting technique offers an extremely low loss solution for antenna beam steering at THz frequencies.
