摘要
Exhaled NO appears a useful noninvasive marker of airway inflammation that offers complementary information for monitoring asthma or allergic rhinitis. However, recent data support the view that exhaled NO mainly reflects the allergic origin of an inflammation of the airways, since it is elevated only in atopic patients.
