A Control Method of DC Capacitor Voltage for Cascaded H-Bridge SVG

摘要
The stable control of capacitor voltages of all modules at DC side is the basic guarantee for the operation of cascaded H-Bridge static var generator (SVG). Using the traditional control methods can't avoid inrush current when SVG start. This design presents a new comprehensive DC voltage control method, the method using improved decoupling control that can effective separation of active component (d) and reactive component (q), increasing compensation accuracy. The design of charging starting circuit reduces the overshoot of voltage and impulses the current when SVG start. Simulation and practical application of experiment prove that comprehensive DV voltage control method is more effective than the traditional method of inhibiting the SVG impact current and voltage stability control.
