Marie Peze, Women at work. A second punishment What place the necessities for a social identity at work let in the construction of men and women? The working world is submited to social relationships between men and women, which are defining behaviours and world conceptions, that are not sexual in the psychanalytic meaning of the word. If men can appropriate tasks of responsability which are demanding a strong bio-availabily, we must record that the performance of man is often got through the support of man's body by the women. The capacity to work of men is therefore backed from the body work of women, an invisible work, which seems natural and which must be done with a smile. Because of the differences in the starting salaries, the discrimination in the repartition of work, the outsourcing of private life, the women, athletes of the everiday life, suffer from a lack of appreciation of their invisible know-how.
