An improved space-time-frequency coding for MIMO-OFDM systems

摘要
This paper proposes novel Space-Time-Frequency (STF) coding for multi-antenna Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing (OFDM) transmissions over frequency-selective Rayleigh fading channel. Combining with subchannel grouping and setting suitable system parameters, we first transform our system into a set of group STF(GSTF)system. This can make it easier to carry out STF coding within each GSTF system. We analyze the criteria for STF coding and make use of ST coding to construct STF block code. The code that we propose can obtain maximum diversity and coding gain, while the complexity of decoding is quite low. The advantages of our design can be illustrated through simulations.
