摘要
Herein, a recapitulative review concerning recent research towards red-emissive carbon dots (CDs) is presented. Mechanisms of these red-emissive CDs are discussed in detail, aiming at proposing some theoretical guidance for the rational design of red-emissive CDs. In addition, reaction systems of these red-emissive CDs, including precursors, synthetic approaches, and purification process, are also summarized. (C) 2018 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
