摘要
This report summarizes the technological roadmap for Japanese fiber/textile industries, compiled by Ministry of Economics, Technology and Information. Here the proposed R & D projects were evaluated by three criteria: Whether the technology responds to the social needs? Whether the technology has an advantage over those in abroad? Whether the technology has a high impact on market? In order to achieve the roadmap, a new innovation system was considered and a concept of semi-open innovation was proposed. The Shinshu University Innovation Center will be introduced as a practice of this concept. The reason why the open innovation is not practically accepted in Japan is also discussed in terms of the sense of value in the Japanese companies.
