Chiral separation of β2-blockers on pirkle-type chiral stationary phases

摘要
Liquid chromatographic resolution of six racemic beta(2)-blockers including bambuterol, clenbuterol, clenpropol, fumoterol, mabuterol, and terbutaline was studied on two Pirkle-type chiral stationary phases (CSPs) such as alpha-Burke-2 and Pirkle-1J. By varying the mobile phase compositions, five of the six beta(2)-blockers were successfully resolved on alpha-Burke-2 CSP, while only two beta(2)-blockers were resolved on Pirkle-1J CSP.
