ASCE: The march toward the 21st century

For the past four years, the American Society of Civil Engineers has been in the threes of phenomenal change. It quickly reached a crossroads, charted a new strategic course, and is now moving rapidly toward a new reality for civil engineers and the civil engineering profession. The society today is more flexible, focused, free-thinking, and forward moving-in essence, more responsive to its members. It is financially stronger than ever, growing in membership and poised to serve civil engineers and related professionals more effectively as the next millennium approaches. This new direction for the oldest national professional engineering society is the subject of "ASCE: The March toward the 21st Century.".
