摘要
Increased nutritional awareness, a host of test labels and the recent food crises and scandals have caused massive unease among consumers. The consequences: consumers have given up eating certain food products, completely. To restore faith in and the credibility of meat, poultry, sausages, etc., TuV SuD Group offers a comprehensive test program for the new "Food Safety - TuV Tested" mark. This test mark is based on documented, conclusive, transparent and therefore credible criteria and facilitates consumers' purchasing decisions. Services are provided along the entire food- and feed-production chain and extend from raw substances to shop counters. The focus is on transparency and quality assurance. For this purpose, all quality factors are recorded in an initial step, the so-called "planning phase". This includes, in particular, producers' quality claims and the test mark's scope of application. The two subsequent stages, evaluation and verification, focus primarily on production and product testing.
