STUDY ON MENTAL HEALTH STATUS AND LIFE QUALITY OF MIGRANT WORKERS IN CONSTRUCTION INDUSTRY

摘要
In this paper, the author adopts the method of multistage cluster sampling, and the migrant workers in 10 sites of 3 districts in Zhengzhou are randomly selected to conduct a questionnaire survey mainly including the basic situation of the survey questionnaire, psychological status of Kessler questionnaire of quality of life scale SF-12, using EpiData3.1 to establish data base and using SPSS20.00 statistical software for data collection and analysis. It is concluded that the psychological health of migrant workers in construction industry of Zhengzhou is serious. The prevalence of illness, debt, feeling of discrimination and setback adversity are the risk factors of mental health, life satisfaction, sleep status and family support are the protective factors of mental health. The factors influencing the quality of life of migrant workers in Zhengzhou construction industry are living conditions, nutritional status, pressure, current illness and urban fitness. The factors influencing mental health factors are frustration, job satisfaction, family support, current illness, discrimination and sleep.
