摘要
Traffic guiding is very important in intelligent traffic system. The urban traffic guiding system model based on high brightness LED road light and LED traffic light is proposed. Due to their large modulation bandwidth, LEDs are not only used as lighting devices, but also as transmitters for communication system. In this paper, a four-lane framework is outlined. The better bending angle and incidence angle are designed in 200 m communication distance where the traffic inform-ation can be carried out. And the basic performance of this system is evaluated and simulated. Receive diversity technology is introduced to minimize the influences of multipath propagation, shadowing effect and signal fad-ing. Experimental results showed that it is feasible and credible that traffic voice guiding system communicates from the two-lane to four-lane, when the bending angle of LED road light from alpha = 13 degrees to alpha = 14.5 degrees and the FOV of detector phi(c) >= 27 degrees.
