摘要
The analysis is performed For optimisation of plain bearing with hydrostatic lubrication-it is needed to calculate the pressure and now of lubricant. The goal is to optimise the shape of recess in The bearing surface. Pressure and now of lubricant are determined by Laplace's differential equation, which is governing differential equation for hydrostatic lubrication. Boundary element method is used to approximate the boundary integral equation with. the ordinary system of linear equations. As a final solution, the pressure and now of lubricant in ally point of the bearing surface carl be calculated. The accuracy and convergence of the results that have been got by using boundary element method is examined by comparing them with the results obtained by finite difference method.
