摘要
CAE analysis plays an important role in die and mould manufacturing. In order to improve the modeling ability of the existing CAE analysis system, the paper presents a STEP based method by improving the integration ability of CAE systems and CAD tools. And an improved strategy for mesh generation is described and the application system based on the strategy is implemented. Results show that the presented method helps to not only improve the mesh quality but also increase the process efficiency and reduce the time cost.
