摘要
In the three-phase voltage-source inverter (VSI), dead-time is inserted essentially to avoid the short circuit of DC bus. This time is of relatively short duration when compared to the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) period. Nevertheless, its cumulative effect over multiple cycles makes the distortion of the inverter output voltage, thus induces undesired harmonic components. In this paper, time compensation algorithm which depends on the polarity of phase current is proposed to decrease the effects of the dead-time as well as the turn on/off time of the switching device in a space vector modulated VSI. It was simulated on an induction motor to verify the effectiveness of the scheme.
