摘要：
With the advent of ever more powerful computers, the push to investigate materials directly on the basis of simulation represents an important part of modern materials science. One crucial set of developments in such modeling concerns the use of multiscale techniques in which either multiple time or multiple spatial scales are treated simultaneously.
