Chemical reaction of Cu2O-Al system in preparation of Al2O3/Cu composite

摘要
The reaction behavior Of Cu2O and Al was analyzed by chemical thermodynamics methods, temperature-time analysis curves were tested and X-ray diffraction was applied to examine reacted products in the specimens fabricated from Cu2O-Al powder compacts. The results show that the chemical reaction Of Cu2O-Al system includes three different stages: in the first stage, there is a little reacted products of Al2O3 and Cu when temperature is lower than 910 K; in the second stage, chemical reaction doesn't occur in the Cu2O-Al system from 910 K to 1103 K; in the third stage, the reacted products of Cu, Al2O3 and CuAlO2 are formed from 1103 K to 1373 K.
