摘要：
Although echinococcosis is not uncommon in India, the location of hydatid cyst in submandibular region is unusual. We report a unique case of primary echinococcosis of left submandibular region. Preoperative assessment by ultrasonography and FNAC did not point to echinococcosis however diagnosis was made by CT scan findings.
