Procedure for optimising life cycle cost for indoor climate systems

摘要
An indoor climate system is needed in every building to provide an appropriate thermal comfort and good indoor air quality. ne indoor climate system, systems for heating, cooling and ventilation, must fulfil these requirements but it should also use the least amount of resources possible from an environmental and economical perspective. To add the economical perspective, life cycle economics was applied to indoor climate systems where the target actor was assumed to be a building's owner or user. The paper discusses what needs to be taken into account to make life cycle cost (LCC) analyses on common combinations of heating, cooling and mechanical ventilation systems in office buildings and residential buildings.
