摘要
The two major drawbacks of the switched reluctance motor (SRM) are high torque ripple and acoustic noises. In this paper a new torque ripple minimization method is proposed for an SRM which is based on online current profiling by using the processed speed signal. Torque ripple of a SRM is usually reflected in the speed signal because of the electromechanical dynamics of the drives. By using proper filtering and amplification of the estimated motor speed signal, torque ripple information can be extracted even at high inertial systems. The processed information from speed signal can be used to shape the reference phase current in minimizing the torque ripple. Implementation of the proposed method does not require any prior knowledge of the torque-current-position characteristics of an SRM and independent of any parameter variation. Simulations and experimental results are presented to support the proposed method.
