摘要
The survival of retinoblastoma patients in developing countries is lower than in the most affluent ones. Late diagnosis, poor treatment compliance and limitations for treatment are the major causes for these poor results. There is an association between the socioeconomic indicators of a country's development with the chances of survival and treatment adherence. Strategies for obtaining a better outcome are depicted in this review.
