摘要：

Virtual courses of the University of the Third Age (VU3A) represent a new alternative to the classical attendance education of U3A. They are based on use of new communication technologies, multimedia and the interne; they have elements of distance education and eLearning, and they are adapted didactically to characteristic specifics of a target group - the seniors with an interest in education at university level. The distant education is determined above all for education of seniors in regions who can not participate in UVA lectures in the attendance form in seats of universities for various reasons (a distance, health and time reasons, financial costingness for transportation and so on). Availability anywhere and any time is the biggest advantage of the virtual courses.
