Analysis of Urban Ecological Environment and Sustainable Development - Taking Yinchuan as a Case Study

Urban ecological environment as a key measure of an urban sustainable development level is an important basis for the formation and development of the city. The research on urban ecological environment has become more and more popular in big cities. Under the goal of establishing national environmental protected exemplary city of China, the development state of ecological environment of Yinchuan has been obviously improved. In this paper it was analyzed and researched on climate, air quality, water situation, Regional socio-economic, hydrology, soil condition, urban green, regional socio-economic, urban tour of Yinchuan during 2004-2008, which founded that there were still some deficiencies, Such as industrial structural pollution, low efficient utilization in water resources and urban monitoring system. According to these problems, there were some suggestions for them. How to improve the ecological environment of Yinchuan, the key is that it should develop efficient urban, save water scientific, and improve environmental supervision and management.
